DAY 1 : ARRIVAL KOTA KINABALU / BRIEF CITY TOUR (D)
Upon arrival, meet at Kota Kinabalu International Airport by our representative, transfer for a brief city tour, brings you to the Sabah State Mosque. A drive up Signal Hill affords you a panoramic view of the landscape and offshore of Kota Kinabalu & South China Sea. Pass by the Malay Likas Village to Sabah Foundation Building for photo stop, then transfer to you hotel for check in.
DAY 2 : MANUKAN ISLAND TOUR (B / BBQ L)
0830hrs – Meet at hotel lobby, and transfer to Jetty for just 20 minutes boat ride to the Island. Tunku Abdul Rahman Marin Park beckons with its idyllic setting of sun, sand and sea. Luxuriate on pristine white beaches, swim in warm, azure waters and snorkel amidst a myriad of tropical fishes or explore rich coral reefs on the islands fringes. Sumptuous barbecue is offered at Island, through unspoiled rainforest and along planks through the wetlands or take a leisurely dive or snorkel along the water’s edge to see the coloured corals and marine life. Back to mainland by late afternoon, transfer back to your hotel for rest & free.
DAY 3 : MARI – MARI CULTURAL VILLAGE / PROBOSCIS RIVER SAFARI + FIRE FLY (B/ L/ D)
0900 hrs – Depart from hotel and take a leisurely drive into the countryside, the journey will take about 20 minutes from the city hotel to the village. Visit each tribe’s traditional house and do some in house activities and stopover at demo. huts. When you hear the gong beatings, which is the signal to move on to the stage for the cultural performance by the villagers which lasts about 20-30 minutes. After that, proceed to the restaurant and enjoy the delectable traditional and fusion cuisines for lunch. After lunch , continue the tour to Klias Wetlands, some 25 km south of Beaufort, This is home to the unique proboscis monkey (Nasalis Larvatus), endemic only to Borneo. In the late afternoon, as our small open boat drifts past the mangrove, groups of these amazing animals make their way to the riverbank before settling down for the evening. This is a wonderful opportunity to watch these animals in the wild as dusk falls. Witness the nature display of millions of Firefly along the river bank and nearby swamp area. Local Malay style buffet dinner will be serve at river bay before the return trip to Kota Kinabalu.
DAY 4 : KOTA KINABALU / AIRPORT (B)
Free at leisure until transfer to airport for departure
